Hello, world!
Hi and welcome to our blog. Let me start by introducing myself and my beautiful companions.
First on the right there's Miia. In the middle is Elli (aka me, I'll be writing our blog) and lastly but not least, Pia. This is our power team and even though we aren't all related, we are like sisters. Pia and I are siblings, but we like to think Miia is our adopted sister - spiritually at least! And in case any of you are wondering, Pia and Miia are both 23 years old. I'm our team's baby with 21 years behind me.
This trio will be going on an adventure to Asia. And before you read any further, you must know that we are all Christians and Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. In fact, this journey is all about God. We wouldn't be leaving anywhere without Him. We'll be following Him throughout this journey and believing that He will take care of us. Actually, no, we know He'll take care of us. Let that be announced to the whole world. No matter what will come our way, we may continue our journey in peace because we know Jesus is walking before us, with us, holding our hands. Can I get a Amen?
So what's the plan? Well, we're not sure. Heh. At the moment we'll be leaving 1st of October towards Hong Kong. We'll stay there for six days and after that we're heading to Singapore. After that - well, after that we don't know where we're going. At the moment we don't even know where we are staying! But I think that's the beauty of this adventure. We really don't know where we're going, what we're seeing, only trusting that God Almighty will guide our steps and give us strength and wisdom. Maybe we'll see more countries, maybe we'll stay in Singapore. Only God knows. All we know that this trip will last for a month.
Gaah, we're all so so so excited! I can't even describe it to you. We started to talk about this about a year ago and now it's almost reality. In a month we'll be heading towards our dream. Because that's what this is. A dream that God put in our hearts. And let me tell you, Lord has planned this journey. There's no question about it. This is all about Him, all for Him and for His glory. I know there will be questions about our sanity. Maybe something like this:
"You'll be travelling across the globe and you're going to trust God will take care of you? Really? You can't know if He's even real, there's no proof. You can't trust that He will give you money if you ran out of it. You have to save enough money for this trip. You can't trust Him if you get robbed. You can't trust Him if you get sick. You can't trust someone invisible. I mean, come on. You're crazy."
Well, sir or ma'am. Our God is more visible than you can ever imagine. And if you're doubting His ability to take care of these three girls, than how about you follow this blog and see for yourself? I hope that this blog will open your eyes to see Jesus. Because He is the way, and the truth, and the life. [John 14:6]
