Hello!
I know it's been a while since I last posted anything, but here we go! I really haven't got the time to write anything because of our late arrival at the hotel every night. After a long day you just want to take a shower, fall to your bed, pray your prayers and fall asleep. But we are now at Hong Kong International Airport, waiting for our plane to leave at 7:10AM. Singapore here we come! We are quite excited to leave Hong Kong. Don't get me wrong, this has been an amazing experience and we can highly recommend Hong Kong. We just think once you've seen it, you really don't have to come back. At least, we don't. We came, we saw, we blessed and now it's time to move on.
But now! Something from our days. Two days ago we went to see Noah's Ark. It was one of the reasons we really wanted to visit Hong Kong. We started this trip by crossing the river by Star Ferry.
Star Ferry is easy and super cheap. If you ever visit Hong Kong, you definitely should use ferries. They are so much more fun than subway. You can get some fresh air and see beautiful scenery. Once we crossed the river, we changed ferries and to Noah's Ark we go!
And what a sight it was.
This is what we saw first. You really can't imagine something until you see it. Of course we've read about Noah's ark. We knew how long it would be, because we've read about it from the Bible and from other magazines. But to see it with your own eyes... Our jaws may have dropped once we stood in front of the ark.
But that was only what we saw from afar. We walked through quiet streets. It was a rainy day, but that didn't bother us. It rained only when we weren't moving. What we've learned so far is that God has a perfect timing in everything. When it rains, we are eating, or sitting on a bench under a tree, or waiting in line, always safe from the pouring rain. And when we are walking, it doesn't rain at all or it's drizzling rain. He is so amazing, so beautiful and we really can't tell you just how powerful He is. We have truly walked in prepared steps, every day. And He knows we don't want to be in the middle of a huge crowd, so the fact that He sent us here when no one was around, made us smile.
This park wasn't a huge park. It was rather small, but if you're travelling with children, this is a place to go. There was a lot of action for small children, but the ark truly is worth the money.
I can't describe the size of this thing. It's big. It's huge. It's enormous. It's beautiful. And when you see this and you realize one man with the help of his family built this thousands of years ago when there wasn't any technology to help him... I mean what? How did he do it? Probably with just a hammer and a saw. I don't know. But because nothing is impossible to God, he made this happen. Only using one man. Can you imagine that? My only question is how did he made it waterproof? How did that boat float above the water? That's what I want to know someday when I'm in Heaven :D
But yeah, it took us a while to take the ark in. But once we picked our jaws up from the ground, we walked through the Ark Garden. And it was so pretty! We walked through a zoo! Because from every species, one male and one female walked into the ark.
And here's some aliens. Species still unknown |
Here's just a few pictures from the garden. It was nice to get away from the city and relax. Here's more photos from the park.

And there were these cute pictures of the fruit of the Spirit. These are what we want, these are what we pray for.
Our whole day was spent at the Ark. It was an amazing day, a day of relaxation. We took a ferry back to the Central and because it was already dark, the views were spectacular. Hong Kong is more breathtaking at night. It's more prettier, we think. Here's just a few photos we took.

Bonus:

Okay, here's everything for now. I'll be posting something in a day or two. Next time I'll be writing, it'll be from Singapore! Yay!
Thank you, Jesus, for taking care of us! We truly thank You for directing our steps. Everything is in Your hands. Thank You!
